Let's improve our pronunciation and fluency!

Image
Hello teachers, nice to meet you again here! As we are language teachers, we know that speaking is one of the most challenging skills to master during the language learning process. It can be really difficult to know if you're pronouncing words correctly, using the right intonation, or speaking at a natural pace. So this time I'm recommending you a really good tool which is called Speechling. Speechling is an online platform that helps language learners improve their speaking skills through personalized feedback and practice exercises. From https://speechling.com/ As you can see in the front page of Speechling above, it is an online language learning platform that offers personalized speech feedback and coaching in several languages. Hello teachers, today I would like to share a really interesting and useful online tool which provide us a platform to collaborate and interact with our students, it is the Twiddla!  Firstly, let me introduce Twiddla briefly with some screenshot I just made on Twiddla. As you can see in the pictures. Twiddla is a web-based collaboration tool that allows multiple users to draw, write, and interact on a shared virtual whiteboard.  From https://www.twiddla.com/ From https://www.twiddla.com/ But please don't think it's just a site that provides blank canvases, it can do way more things. As you can see in the below picture, there are many tools we can use up top such as insert text boxes and images, or do some shapes and drawing on the whiteboard. And it's totally free and we don't even need to register an account for it! All we need to do is to create a room by just one click and then invite our students into the room by give them the room URL. For more detailed ins...

It's called Duolingo. Let's take a look at it together here. More than 40 different languages are provided on this website, which means that we  (or students)  can easily find the target language we/they want to learn. From duolingo.com To get started, just choose the language you are speaking, and then select the target language you want to learn. Here I choose English as L1 and Spanish as the target language for example. From duolingo.com The most impressive thing  that I like  about Duolingo is that it's a gamified language-learning  website/ app. It converted the process of language learning into a game. As you can see, the characters are all cartoonish and fun. From duolingo.com Another good thing about  Duolingo  is that with every single unit, there is a tip se...
