But please don't think it's just a site that provides blank canvases, it can do way more things. As you can see in the below picture, there are many tools we can use up top such as insert text boxes and images, or do some shapes and drawing on the whiteboard. And it's totally free and we don't even need to register an account for it! All we need to do is to create a room by just one click and then invite our students into the room by give them the room URL. For more detailed instruction, you can check the video attached in the end of this blog post.

We can also assign a writing task to the students, and then use Twiddla to allow students to give each other feedback on their writing. The students can use the whiteboard to highlight areas that need improvement, suggest alternative phrasing, or offer general comments.
Furthermore, we can also do vocabulary practice with our students in a more interesting way in Twiddla. We can create a vocabulary list and then use Twiddla to play vocabulary games with the students. For example, we can create a crossword puzzle on the whiteboard and let students work in pairs or groups to solve it, or they can play a matching game where students match words with their definitions. This is definitely more fun than letting them memorize the vocabulary by just reading aloud.
The reasons that I really recommend you to use this online tool are that Twiddla allows users to collaborate in real-time on a shared virtual canvas. This makes it ideal for remote teachers and students who need to work together from different locations. It is web-based, which means we can access it from any device with an internet connection. Like I mentioned above, it doesn't require any software installation or account registration, which makes it easy to use and accessible to everyone.
But of course there are also some limitations of Twiddla, such as the limited free plan, Twiddla only offers a limited free plan with basic features, but users need to upgrade to a paid plan to access advanced features. And the issue of bandwidth dependent should also be taken into account. Since Twiddla is an online tool, it requires a stable and reliable internet connection. Users with low bandwidth or unstable internet connections may experience lag or other performance issues.
