Let's improve our pronunciation and fluency!

Hello teachers, nice to meet you again here! As we are language teachers, we know that speaking is one of the most challenging skills to master during the language learning process. It can be really difficult to know if you're pronouncing words correctly, using the right intonation, or speaking at a natural pace.

So this time I'm recommending you a really good tool which is called Speechling. Speechling is an online platform that helps language learners improve their speaking skills through personalized feedback and practice exercises.

As you can see in the front page of Speechling above, it is an online language learning platform that offers personalized speech feedback and coaching in several languages. And it's main focus is on helping learners improve their speaking skills by providing them with targeted feedback on their pronunciation, intonation, and fluency.

Speechling offers a range of tools (as you can see in the toolbox) and resources to help learners practice their speaking skills, including audio recordings, flashcards, and exercises. The platform also offers personalized coaching from native-speaking tutors who provide feedback on learners' recordings and offer tips for improvement.

The really good thing for me is that, as language teachers, we can not only use Speechling to improve our own speaking abilities, but also use it as a tool to support our language teaching and to help our students improve their speaking skills. For example, we can assign speaking exercises to our students through Speechling. This will allow students to practice speaking on their own time and receive feedback on their pronunciation and fluency. We can also review our students' recordings and provide personalized feedback to help them improve their speaking skills. This can be done perfectly through Speechling's online platform. Furthermore, we can even use Speechling right in the classroom to provide live feedback and support to our students. We can use the platform's audio recording and playback features to help our students practice speaking and receive immediate feedback.

Another reason that I really like Speechling is that, as it's an online platform, so learners (no matter students or we as teachers) can access it from anywhere with an internet connection. This makes it convenient for learners who want to practice speaking on their own time. Speechling also offers a free plan that includes basic speaking exercises and feedback. This makes it accessible to learners who may not be able to afford traditional language classes or private tutoring. And we can decide whether to upgrade 'Speechling Unlimited Plan' any time we want, and the price also sounds acceptable. And the only limitation of Speechling I can think of is that it might limit the interaction between learners. What I mean is that, Speechling is primarily a self-study platform, so learners may not have many opportunities to interact with other learners in the same language. This can limit their ability to practice speaking and listening skills in a natural conversation.

If you want you know more about Speechling, here's a video of the review of Speechling made by Robert in 2019. I hope you will find something useful.
